20 Questions

The assumptions that the reader can make about Montag is that he likes to see things get burned down into ashes. Also instead of trying to make the fire go away he provokes it.

After they had stopped their conversation Clarisse asks Montag how long he has been a firemen as if she knew him was just catching up. At first Montag takes it as a joke and starts to laugh but then realizes that Clarisse’s question has a point.

Three odd things that I’ve learned from Clarisse is that people are always watching tv and don’t have face to face conversation, they’re always home with the lights out so people think they’re not home and Leonard Mead from the Pedestrian is Clarisse’ uncle.
